Alachua Consort Concert at Westminster Presbyterian Church

The Alachua Consort got together again this May to perform an ecletic program of pieces at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gainesville, Florida. Annemieke Pronker-Coron (violin), John Netardus (oboe), and Miriam Zach (organ) performed pieces by Giovanni Paolo Cima, Carl Rosier, Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Christoph Pepusch, Cécile Chaminade, Richard Rodney Bennett, Domenico Cimarosa, and Antoine Dornel.

The concert was supported by Michael Lynch and Samuel B. Trickey.

Concert for Nature

The Alachua Consort will present a Concert for Nature at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gainesville, Florida on Sunday, May 22 at 4pm.

The ensemble will perform music from the Baroque era through the present, including compositions by Mark O’Connor, Jacob van Eyck, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Jean Baptiste Lully, and Benedetto Marcello.

Admission is free; donations are welcome to Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Presbyterian Heritage Sunday Concert

On Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 4:00pm the Alachua Consort, John Netardus (oboe), Annemieke Pronker-Coron (violin), and Miriam Zach on the Johnson & Son pipe organ, will present a concert in honor of Presbyterian Heritage Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1521 NW 34th Street, Gainesville, Florida.

The ensemble will perform music from England, Scotland, Switzerland, and the New England School in the United States, including music by Claude Goudimel, John Stanley, John Alcock, James Oswald, Marguerite Roesgen- Champion, Amy Beach, Edward MacDowell, and Arthur Foote.

Admission is free; donations are welcome to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
